Randye Kaye is a noted radio broadcaster and actress (stage, voice, improv) and the author of Ben Behind His Voices: One Family’s Journey from Chaos to Hope, represented by the Claire Gerus Agency (cgerus@comcast.net). She is a professional voice talent, narrating projects and commercials for clients such as Verizon, Continental Airlines, Priceline.com, Brilliance Audio, and Burger King. Randye can currently be heard in Connecticut as part-time newscaster and classical music host on WSHU. Prior to that, she was a morning radio personality on STAR 99.9 FM.
Stepping away from the recording studio, Randye is a diversity trainer for the Anti-Defamation League, and is the Connecticut trainer of Family Educators for the National Alliance of Mental Illness. She speaks frequently on these topics in order to help increase understanding and reduce stigma about mental illness and other diversity issues.
She also uses her communication skills in popular breakout workshops such as "Happier Made Simple: Change Your Life with Seven Phrases" and "Bring Words to Life: High-Impact Presentations that are Uniquely You”. Randye has traveled around the nation presenting seminars on stress reduction, customer service, media awareness, creativity, and other life enhancement topics. She frequently serves as event MC, most recently for The Connecticut Press Club, ALS Association, and The Kennedy Center Inc. She coaches voiceover students at Edge Studio in Fairfield and NYC.
