I get clean and sober on September 25th, 1988 and began dealing with my severe depression and anxiety.  I was diagnosed and treated intensely for severe Ptsd from childhood sexual abuse.   After five incredible years of Mental Health and Twelve Step recovery, I left the oil and gas industry and began studying for a degree in psychology followed by a Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.

Theres a new movie coming out this friday. Its called "The Dry Land" and stars America Ferrera of "Ugly Betty" fame, and is directed by her fiance'.

VA - PTSD, etc

The VA says that VETS Come First.  Bull.  My PTSD/depression seems to get worse the more I try for a disability pension.  The run around is delay-deny, delay-deny ad nauseum.  Are they hoping I will kill myself so that they won't have to pay any more benefits that I supposedly have already earned.  I'm a 'Nam vet.  We're the ones that got spat upon.  We're the ones that were called baby killers.  No "Thank you for your service".  Nix, nada, nichiev...
