As regards my previous blog about the writer who self annihilated this past weekend.

Also mentioned in several reports about this incident, is the fact that this guy was suffering from "clinical depression". As if that somehow quantifies his abuse, reaction to it, or resulting self annihilation.

i was disheartened this AM to awake to the news that a writer for VQR- was bullied to the point of suicide. i caught it on NBC's Today show. They showed where this poor guy had made seventeen calls to HR in just the week previous to giving up. His "boss" had harangued this poor guy from day one- and the real shame was in the fact that the "boss" was obviously twenty years junior to the writer.
