Im a recovering alcoholic, single mom, to a recovering alcoholic son (28), and a bipolar teenage daughter (16). I have learned a lot in the last year since my dear daughter (DD) was dx'd, about mental illness, hers and my own, I never knew I was suffering from depression all of my life. I still have so much to learn about how MI effects our children and their status in school and life in general. We as parents, teachers and friends have so much to learn and do to help these kids.
